August 6: London trades Zack Grzelewski to the Flint Firebirds in exchange for a 3rd Round Pick (London, 2016).

August 6: Erie trades Patrick Murphy to the Sudbury Wolves in exchange for a 15th Round Pick (Cond., 2018).

August 7: Windsor trades Graeme Brown to the Kingston Frontenacs in exchange for a 4th Round Pick (2017).

August 11: Kingston trades Jacob Graves to the Oshawa Generals in exchange for a 15th Round Pick (Cond., 2017).

With the loss of Nathan Pancel, the Sudbury Wolves went out and acquired Charley GraSudburyaskamp from the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. With the Greyhounds recent additions, Graaskamp had become an expendable asset who obviously held some value. Graaskamp is a native of Eau Claire, WI and had been playing center for the Greyhounds. In parts of two seasons with the Greyhounds, Graaskamp notched 18 points in 41 games with a third of his points coming this season.  (more…)

The Peterborough Petes made a splash acquiring highly touted OA Nathan Pancel from thePeterborough Sudbury Wolves. The Wolves are known rebuilders, as are the Peterborough Petes but the Petes do have a shot to make a run for the playoffs and Nathan will certainly help fill Nick Ritchie’s void, at least when it comes to putting the puck in the net that is. Pancel, since being drafted in the 5th round by the Wolves in 2010, has put up 217 points in 249 games played throughout parts of 5 years all with the Sudbury Wolves.  (more…)

The Sudbury Wolves announced the team has acquired 2014 Kingston Frontenacs Sudburyfirst round selection (15th overall) Reagan O’Grady. O’Grady became available after a request for a trade came in as a result of not enough playing time for the 1998 born defender. Reagan will certainly get the ice time he’s been seeking in Sudbury. Reagan has only managed to notch 1 point, which came as an assist in Sarnia back in November, in his limited ice time with the Frontenacs throughout his 26 games played.  (more…)
