The Guelph Storm have traded overage goaltender Justin Nichols to the Oshawa Generals in exchange fore two draft picks, just before the OHL’s overage trade deadline on Friday at noon.  (more…)


The London Knights have made their first “splash” if you want to call it that leading up to this year’s OHL Trade Deadline. General Manager Basil McCrae announced that the team has acquired overage defender Jacob Graves from the Oshawa Generals. Going back to Oshawa is young forward Eric Henderson. (more…)

The Kingston Frontenacs announced their acquisition of star forward Michael Dal Colle from the Oshawa Generals. Dal Colle is currently property of the New York Islanders by way of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft where the left winger was selected 5th overall.

In exchange, the Generals receive a good haul including 4 high draft choices and 1999 born winger, Robbie Burt. (more…)

The Oshawa Generals enjoyed their run to becomming Memorial Cup Champions last season after bringing many important pieces into the fold. Roger Hunt and crew sacrificed a total of 11 draft picks to bring in goaltender Jason DaSilva from the Peterborough Petes, veteran defender Dakota Mermis and Michael McCarron from the London Knights, and followed that up with the acquisition of Matt Mistele from the Plymouth Whalers. This time around, the Generals will be doing the opposite as Roger Hunt and staff feel it’s time to recoup some of the draft picks lost last year. (more…)

The Kingston Frontenacs have announced the acquisition of Toronto Maple Leafs prospect, Stephen Desrocher from the defending CHL champions, Oshawa Generals.


The Oshawa Generals announced today that they have acquired forward Alexandre Renaud from the Sarnia Sting in exchange for two 5th round draft choices.


August 6: London trades Zack Grzelewski to the Flint Firebirds in exchange for a 3rd Round Pick (London, 2016).

August 6: Erie trades Patrick Murphy to the Sudbury Wolves in exchange for a 15th Round Pick (Cond., 2018).

August 7: Windsor trades Graeme Brown to the Kingston Frontenacs in exchange for a 4th Round Pick (2017).

August 11: Kingston trades Jacob Graves to the Oshawa Generals in exchange for a 15th Round Pick (Cond., 2017).

The last big move before the OHL’s trade deadline was a big one. The dead didn’tOshawa trickle in until well after the 12:00pm deadline but nonetheless resulted in Oshawa & Windsor making a trade and then Windsor and the Plymouth and Oshawa making a trade.  (more…)
