The Windsor Spitfires have announced they’ve acquired Brett Primeau from the Kingston Frontenacs in exchange for future considerations and defender Ryan Sarris from the Niagara IceDogs in exchange for a late round draft pick. (more…)


The Kingston Frontenacs announced their acquisition of star forward Michael Dal Colle from the Oshawa Generals. Dal Colle is currently property of the New York Islanders by way of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft where the left winger was selected 5th overall.

In exchange, the Generals receive a good haul including 4 high draft choices and 1999 born winger, Robbie Burt. (more…)

The Kingston Frontenacs have been awfully busy on the trade front both in talks and actually completing trades. Most recently, the club announced they’ve acquired 1997 born defender Liam Murray from the Windsor Spitfires. In exchange, the Spitfires add a 3rd round pick in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection.  (more…)

The Kingston Frontenacs have announced the acquisition of Toronto Maple Leafs prospect, Stephen Desrocher from the defending CHL champions, Oshawa Generals.


August 6: London trades Zack Grzelewski to the Flint Firebirds in exchange for a 3rd Round Pick (London, 2016).

August 6: Erie trades Patrick Murphy to the Sudbury Wolves in exchange for a 15th Round Pick (Cond., 2018).

August 7: Windsor trades Graeme Brown to the Kingston Frontenacs in exchange for a 4th Round Pick (2017).

August 11: Kingston trades Jacob Graves to the Oshawa Generals in exchange for a 15th Round Pick (Cond., 2017).

The Sudbury Wolves announced the team has acquired 2014 Kingston Frontenacs Sudburyfirst round selection (15th overall) Reagan O’Grady. O’Grady became available after a request for a trade came in as a result of not enough playing time for the 1998 born defender. Reagan will certainly get the ice time he’s been seeking in Sudbury. Reagan has only managed to notch 1 point, which came as an assist in Sarnia back in November, in his limited ice time with the Frontenacs throughout his 26 games played.  (more…)

KingstonCody Caron has struggled to say the least in his time with the Niagara IceDogs. This season, he’d managed to put up one point in 31 games played with 44 penalty minutes and a +/- of -8. That being said, his time with Niagara has come to an end as he’s been moved to Kingston.


North BayThe North Bay Battalion have continued on their shopping spree, much to the surprise and delight of many but cause for concern for other teams who’s eastern conference playoff hopes just got that much tougher. The Battalion, the day after acquiring Nick Moutrey from the Saginaw Spirit, completed a trade with the Kingston Frontenacs. (more…)

The PlymouthPlymouth Whalers grabbed defender Matthew Watson from the Kingston Frontenacs VIA waivers. The Frontenacs put Watson on waivers earlier in the week, he cleared, and now finds himself with the Plymouth Whalers who are majorly short-staffed on the backend due to injuries and suspensions.

Matt Watson, a native on London, Ontario and the twin of LA Kings selection Spencer Watson played 33 games last season in Kingston where he put up 7 points which were made up of 2 goals and 5 assists. He added 13 penalty minutes and managed to stay +2.

Watson, had yet to see the ice this season before he played his first game with his new Whalers team on Friday night in Kitchener.
