The Hamilton Bulldogs have announced they have acquired 1997 born defender, Connor Walters from the Owen Sound Attack in exchange for two draft picks.

To Hamilton:

  • Connor Walters

To Owen Sound:

  • 5th Round Pick (2019)
  • 8th Round Pick (2016)

The Owen Sound Attack needed to make a move involving one of their defenders, all of which are good enough to play more than they have been. Degray’s crew had been carrying 9 defenders and now with the departure of Walters are down to a more usual and manageable 8 defenders. Walters, a native of Welland, Ontario has appeared in 14 games this year for the Attack and scored 1 assist in that time.

The Hamilton Bulldogs with the acquisition of Walters are now carrying an absurd amount of 10 defenders on their roster. Some other notable overages include the Mississauga Steelheads and the Niagara Icedogs who are carrying 9 defenders.
