The London Knights have been extremely active on the phones trying to put themselves in a position to better their roster when the time comes. The Knights need one or two big stay at home, physical defensemen who will help on the PK. Wednesday, the Knights finalized two moves that see 1998 born winger, Drake Rymsha head to Ottawa and 1998 born defender Ben Gleason head to the Hamilton Bulldogs.

It is worth noting that the 2nd round pick London received in the Rymsha trade is in fact in 2018 not in 2019. As well, there was a conditional 15th round pick included in both trades headed to London, both in 2019.

On Monday night, when @OHLInsiders first mentioned moves being imminent out of London, I was told that they were currently working on 3 trades including 3 different players. Obviously two of those moves have been completed, but don’t be surprised if we see another in the coming week most likely involving 1998 born defender, Tyler Nother. The Knights have also been taking calls on forwards Owen MacDonald and CJ Yakimowicz but are a little more hesitant to move them because of the leadership they provide, especially MacDonald.

Stay tuned!
