The Barrie Colts acquired Stephen Nosad from the Barrie Colts. Nosad has been theBarrie subject of some disciplinary action recently as he and a teammate were intoxicated at a game they were both scratched for. The Petes problems lied within their leadership group and this move will certainly help them point the ship in the right direction.

Nosad, a former 2nd round pick of the Peterborough Petes back in 2011 has only notched 6 points in 31 games played for the Petes this season. He’d been a healthy scratch multiple times leading up to the alcohol incident as a result of play not up to coach Jody Hull’s standards.

The Colts had stated two needs heading into this year’s deadline, size on the blue line which they certainly got with Harpur and Bauman and secondly, secondary scoring which they could have with the acquisition of Stephen Nosad.

To Barrie:

– Stephen Nosad

To Peterborough:

– 10th Round Pick (2016)
