Hiddink Joins Wolves

The Sudbury Wolves have signed the former Niagara IceDogs 1st rounder in the 2012 OHL priority selection, Brook Hiddink.

Hiddink, a native of St. Thomas, ON for whatever reason has struggled to find his way in the OHL having had opportunities with both Niagara, Plymouth and most recently Guelph who had given the right winger a tryout opportunity. That’s when an opportunity arose with the struggling Sudbury Wolves who lack offense terribly. Obviously the opportunity in Sudbury was more appealing to Hiddink than the one in Guelph. He watched their 9-2 loss last night Vs. Barrie from the stands.

96′ born Hiddink is yet to play an OHL game this season after scoring 14 points consisting of 1 goal and 13 assists in 36 games played in Plymouth last season.
