Brought on by the Brandon Hope acquisition on Wednesday, the Niagara IceDogs and GM Marty Williamson Niagarahave told me the club will be assigning one of their now four goaltenders, Mackenzie Savard to either Newmarket or North York, tier II. I’m told North York is likely the better fit for the goaltender.

Brought on by the acquisition of goaltender Matthew Mancina from the Guelph Storm, the Peterborough Petes sent goaltender Jason Da Silva back to his home in Milton. Da Silva has since signed and suited up for the Guelph Hurricanes Jr. B.
